Have you ever considered the idea of “doing it afraid”?
I can’t say that I had—until reading this beautiful masterpiece by Joyce Meyer, which offers powerful insight on how to conquer fear.
Do It Afraid explores the topic of fear in a refreshing and practical way.
One of Joyce Meyer’s more recent publications, this book examines how fear shows up in our lives and, more importantly, how it does not have to control us.
Joyce Meyer breaks fear down into three key components: understanding fear, confronting fear, and developing mindsets that allow us to walk in freedom from fear.
This was an excellent read.
Although Joyce Meyer has addressed fear in previous books, this one stands out.
Do It Afraid is instructional and educational, making it ideal for readers who are ready to do the inner work—it is not a casual read.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I purchased this book, but I can honestly say I was not disappointed.
One of my favorite aspects of the book is the personal inserts from individuals who share their own experiences with fear and how they overcame it.
These real-life stories made the lessons even more relatable and impactful.
This is a book you need in your personal library—one you can return to time and time again.
It teaches you how to recognize fear as it arises, confront it head-on, and adopt a mindset that leads to lasting freedom.
I highly recommend this book for us entrepreneurs.
The writing is practical, relatable, and easy to apply.
I could clearly see myself walking through each step as I encountered fear in my own life.
